Story Design Studio… is private creative partnership for writers, artists, founders, and multi-hyphenate creatives building ambitious work.

The Partnership We meet once a week for 90 minutes. Our sessions are active, collaborative, and highly specific to the project. We might pull apart a chapter, map a narrative, edit pages together, brainstorm new material, solve a structural problem, develop a pitch, look at visual references, talk through publishing strategy, identify collaborators, or completely reconsider what you thought you were making.

After each session, I send you one written follow-up email capturing the ideas, references, resources, assignments, connections, and next steps that emerged from our conversation.

I also draw on more than two decades of experience across magazines, books, digital media, branding, and creative entrepreneurship. When useful and appropriate, that can include recommending outside resources, identifying potential collaborators, and making introductions from my professional network. Writing and ghostwriting are also available for an additional fee.

The Engagement Story Design Studio is offered as a monthly private retainer of $4,000, with a three-month minimum commitment. The retainer includes:

• One 90-minute private session each week

• One written follow-up from me after each session, including next steps and relevant resources

• Creative and editorial strategy within our sessions

• Access to my experience across writing, publishing, editorial, media, branding, and creative entrepreneurship

• Recommendations, resources, and professional introductions when appropriate

• Editorial work, manuscript reading outside our sessions, research, decks, proposals, content development, writing, and ghostwriting are not included in the monthly retainer and may be scoped separately.
